I'm Milla, game designer, located in Stockholm. I make games, systems, and stories. I'm a designer at heart, but also interested in programming/scripting, narrative design, and writing.
I studied at Södertörn University, and have a bachelor's degree in game design and scripting (2013-2016). During my studies I also aided Arrowhead Game Studios with additional writing, where I was responsible for item descriptions and some character dialogue in Gauntlet (2014).
In 2016 I teamed up with a graphical artist and we made Somnus, a sci-fi adventure game, in which I was responsible for the design, writing, and programming. The game was later nominated for Best Narrative Design by SGA (Swedish Game Awards '16).
For four years I was a Content Designer with Paradox Interactive, a role that allowed me to combine all the things I liked: gameplay/quest design, system implementation, and narrative writing. Released titles include expansions to Crusader Kings II (2012), such as The Reaper's Due (2016), Monks and Mystics (2017), Jade Dragon (2017), and Holy Fury (2018). I also helped out on the more character driven parts of Rights of Man (2016), a DLC for Europa Universalis IV (2013).
During 2019, I was on the the team developing Crusader Kings III (2020), mainly in charge of player onboarding.
As of 2020, I’m working with The Outsiders, on Metal: Hellsinger, doing systems design and more.
